Mid-Band

Rehearses: Mondays (7:30-9:30pm)
The 'Mid' Band was formed in September 1997, primarily to assist in the progress of players as they move from the Junior Band to the Senior Band.
Over the years many of our young people have gone to study music at the various universities with some of the world famous names of Brass Banding-some have returned to re-join our ranks and are now joined by some older players who have reached the dizzy heights of the Championship, First, and Second sections and who now want to help bring on 'intermediate' players whilst still enjoying their own music . . . which is why we're called the Mid band rather than the 'B' band.
The Mid Band is a registered 4th Section Band and competes in various contests across the UK.
